  • Our Setting

    We offer quality children care and a friendly atmosphere
    • Lunches

      We provide a varied, healthy and nutritious lunch for all the children, as well as morning and afternoon snacks.

    • Hours

      The setting is open between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm Monday to Friday, all year except for the week between the 24th Dec and the 2nd Jan. Each day consists of a full day session, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and two half day sessions, a morning session from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm, an afternoon session from 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm and also available is an after school club which runs from 3:15 pm to 6:00 pm. Your child can attend as many sessions as you would like.

    • Inside

      Stepping Stones has work areas for the children, a ‘messy’ area for painting, sand and water play, malleable table, ICT and maths corner for the children to explore the fundamentals of numbers, shape, science and technology, music and dance section, dressing up and role play area, jigsaw table, construction and building site, small world space as well as cooking and craft areas. There is a quiet area for reading and listening and for times when children need a little peace and quiet.

    • Outside

      There is also a secure out-door play area where the children can access all of the areas of learning that they experience inside; maths, language and literacy, creative, physical, knowledge and understanding of the world and Welsh, but in a outside environment. We also have trikes and scooters, climbing frames, tunnels, slides, balls and hoops, sand, water, investigation and construction

    • Facilities

      Stepping Stones has the facilities to offer the full spectrum of developmental and entertaining activities. We offer a great deal of fun and friendship, whilst learning through play. We provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment where children are supported in developing their full potential.

    • Registration

      Stepping Stones is CIW and Estyn registered and has maintained high standards of inspection. If required these reports and inspections are available for all parents and prospective parents on-line. We are registered as an LEA provider for 3 year-olds, which means you child can secure a funded place with us the term after their 3rd birthday. The setting promotes the Childcare Offer and accepts Childcare vouchers.
